The Great Lakes Research Journal

In-depth reviews of issues and challenges facing Central Africa – ISSN: 1554-0391

The Great Lakes Research Journal is an international, professional and scholarly peer-reviewed online journal. Its primary mission is to foster indispensable thinking, research, exhortations, and expert analyses on a variety of matters of primary significance to the Great Lakes region of Africa, as well as the entire African continent. Thus, relevant publishable topics are of interdisciplinary nature.

All scholarly peer-reviewed articles utilize the publication style of the American Psychological Association (APA). However, in some rare cases the journal is flexible to feature articles and expert opinions that follow other styles if they are judged to have significant ramifications in the improvement of Africa. Authors should consult the current edition of the APA style manual.

Regardless of content, authors must use a clear, unadorned, and direct writing style. Short paragraphs and short sentences will make your text more understandable.

People (scholars and professionals) with a good understanding of African issues are strongly encouraged to write for the journal.
